Author Instructions

Please submit an abstract with no more than 2 pages to the conference email box: veh2019@shanghaitech.edu.cn. The deadline of submission is due by April 1, 2019 April 15, 2019. The notification of abstract acceptance will be sent out on April 22, 2019 April 25, 2019.

You are highly encouraged to use this abstract template and please submit the abstract in both the MSword and the pdf versions.

Abstract Template

This conference will not publish any proceedings. There is no copyright issue for the further publication elsewhere.

Presentation guidance

  • Keynote talk: 30 min including Q&A;
  • Invited talk and oral presentation: 15 min including Q&A;
  • Poster presentation: default poster size A0 (841mm * 1189mm), please get it ready after lunch at July 14;
  • Student poster competition: presenter should stand in front of their posters, the judges will come across and talk to you during the session.

    • Student Poster Competition

    For encouraging more students to join the VEH 2019 conference, there will be a student poster competition during the poster session. Evaluations will be made based on the novelty, logical thinking, poster design, presentation, etc. For attending the competition, the first author must be a full-time student. He/she must register the conference and present the poster by himself/herself during the poster session.

    The first prize winner will be awarded a certificate and 2000 RMB. A brief award ceremony will be held during the conference banquet.
